Usage: This pheromone can be used for monitoring and mass trapping

Monitoring:

-Used with blue sticky traps.

-1 Frankliniella occidentalis pheromone capsule is placed in each trap.

-Trap density: 2 pheromone traps are hung per decare.

-The traps are hung 10-15 cm above the plants, the traps are lifted as the plants grow, and this continues until harvest.

-The traps are hung with the planting of the plants.

-The traps are checked daily until the first adult is caught, and weekly after the first adult is caught. If too many insects stick to the traps and the sticky area decreases, they are replaced with new ones.

Mass trapping:

-Used with blue sticky traps. When the first adult thrips are detected in the traps hung for monitoring purposes, the number of traps is increased. 5 pheromone traps can be hung per decare.
